A young boy, Teddy Rogers, is devastated by a tragic accident and taken from his family to pay a penance which forces him into a life of hard labor. Four years later he escapes to the town of Maysville, where he finds love and a hopeful future, but is soon haunted--and hunted--by his past. Officer Rad Jackson (Sean Schroeder) is a quirky, spunky, highly intellectual, scientific type that is a skeptic who strives to prove once and for all that the existence of such things is just nonsense.
