Two young friends get separated. Years later, the girl writes a serial based on her life. She names the protagonists with their childhood names, hoping that it will help her reunite with her friend.

An unemployed graduate Karthik (Uday Kiran) and his struggles in life is the basic plot. Because of unemployment, he undergoes hardships in his home and society. His father Chalapathi Rao borrows a loan of ten lakhs for an urgent requirement. In return, he mortgages their house to the person who lends the money. Unaware of this transaction, on a fateful day Karthik gets into a tussle between the lender's son and beats him in a fit of rage.

Prabhu goes to visit his biological father who is in a mental asylum. Things take a turn when he discovers the truth behind his father's condition and comes face-to-face with the people responsible.

Mangaraju is the dreaded landlord of Lanka. He forcibly grabs the lands and farms of farmers in Lanka. In the process, he grabs the land of Ravi's father. Ravi grows up in a nearby village. After growing up, he returns to Lanka to claim his land. He gives dappu performance on the birthday of Mangaraju and impresses him. When Mangaraju asks him what gift he wants, Ravi asks for his rightful land that was grabbed by him 20 years ago. Mangaraju in trying to keep his word, gives back 5 acres of land. Ravi starts ploughing this land. He also falls in love with a village belle Aravinda. And incidentally Aravinda happens to be the grand daughter of Mangaraju. Mangaraju who disapproves of this love, separates them. The entire second half is all about how Ravi and Aravinda reunite to get married.

College student creates an imaginary fiance character to ward off any prospective boyfriends. All goes well for her initially but her plans fail when she herself falls for a classmate. Twist happens when someone else comes into the scene.

Sreeram (Uday Kiran) is an unemployed youth who tries for the police selections to become a Sub Inspector of Police. There is a righteous police officer Narayana (Siva Krishna) who encourages Sreeram to become a police officer. He has a steady girl friend Madhu (Anitha). One evening, Sreeram beats a guy black and blue as that guy misbehaves with Madhu. Later on, Sreeram realizes that the person whom he has beaten is a deadly CI (Circle Inspector) of Police whose name is 'Encounter Shankar' (Asish Vidyardhi). Sreeram's sister marriage is settled with the brother of Madhu. When the marriage of Sreeram's sister is about to happen, Encounter Shankar traces Sreeram and beats him up badly in police station and leaves him on a railway track and expects the train to run over Sreeram. But luckily, the will-powered Sreeram jumps form the train track and escapes from the death. The parents of Sreeram find out the beaten up Sreeram with the help of Narayana and they join him in a hospital. The doctor inspects the injuries, dresses him up and tells them that Sreeram won't be able to move his body for 3 months and he needs complete rest. But his interview for SI post is scheduled in the next month, which requires him to be physically fit. He motivates himself and attends interview as with 100% fitness. In the meantime, Encounter Shankar is under impression that Sreeram is dead. But Sreeram is selected for the post of SI and Encounter Shankar is asked to enquire and give the conduct certificate of Sreeram. After confirming that Sreeram is alive, Encounter Shankar gives a bad conduct certificate. And he also teases Sreeram into a street fight and takes clandestine photographs and produces them to the higher authorities as evidence. The hide and seek game between Sreeram and Encounter Shankar comes to an end when Encounter Shankar comes to Sreeram's place to humiliate him. How Sreeram win over Encounter Shankar is that point that is covered in the climax.

Holi is a romantic love story movie in which, Kiran (Uday Kiran) works in a software company. Sandhya (Richa Pallod), an educated belle from a village, joins in the same company as s/w engineer. Kiran falls in love with Sandhya. On the day of Holi, Kiran proposes to Sandhya. She responds to him by saying that she does not believe in a thing called love. She also says that if he is interested he can get his parents speak to her parents and fix up the marriage. But Kiran wants to date her before marriage. But Sandhya believes in the concept of love after marriage. Kiran is angry with Sandhya for her refusal. One day she realizes the preciousness of love and by then her parents fixes her marriage with an NRI. rest of the story is about how all ends well.

Jodi No.1 is a 2003 Indian Telugu film, directed by Pratani Rama Krishna Goud and Produced by Pratani Suguna. The film stars Uday Kiran, Venya, Srija, Kaushal, Sumeet and Gowtam Raju in lead roles. The music of the film was composed by Vande Mataram.

Prabhu (Uday Kiran) is a college student who does not allow anyone to do wrong. He quite often argues with others to the point where he is repeatedly arressted. When he was younger his foster father (Nizhalgal Ravi), a psychiatrist used to bail him out. In the meantime, Swetha (Diya), the sister of commissioner of police Ravichandra, has been ditching her college classes, so her father has a police eccort take her to school. When she tries to escape from her escort, they pursue her. They cross paths with the troublesome Prabhu, who battles them. In the ensuing fight, Prabhu says 'I love you' to Swetha and she is so impressed by his gallantry, she falls in love. Prabhu then learns that his foster parents are taking him to meet his real father Lakshmi Narayana (Satyaraj) who had been receiving treatment in a mental hospital. He tries to speak with his father, but the man is unresponsive. On the advice of Swetha's father, he takes his father to Kerala for treatment. When there, he meets a former bodyguard of Lakshmi Narayana who tells him that not only was his father the former Election Commissioner, but that his current mental breakdown state was caused by local politician Ramadasu (Vijayan). Coincidentally, Ramadasu has been brought to that same Kerala facility by his own son (Riyaz Khan). When Ramadasu's son learns that his father's former enemy Lakshmi is still alive, he attempts to kill him.

Surya's friend Nagendran demands a dowry from his wife Mythilli after marriage. When Surya learns about this, he tries to help Mythilli but is framed for her murder instead.
