After Jiu's pastries are praised, Princess Zhi He demands to be taught how to make them to please Dong Hua. Dong Hua tricks the leader of the Green Demon Clan into doing chores around the palace.

Yan Chiwu is frustrated because Dong Hua won't fight him so bribes Nie Chuyin for a solution. Jiu makes a deal surrendering her pelt for three years. Jiu and Ji Heng both find themselves fighting alongside Dong Hua.

Jiu loves the closeness of her relationship with Dong Hua but wonders how he would react if she revealed the truth. Zhi He is jealous of the attention Jiu receives, even as a pet.

Dong Hua's future bride arrives at the palace and Jiu learns what jealousy and pride are. En encounter with another of Dong Hua's pets puts her in jeopardy.

Bai Feng Jiu leaves a farewell gift for Dong Hua. Her nine tails are recovered. Cheng Yu is upset at Dong Hua for Jiu's broken heart. Zhi He learns about the wedding at the last minute. The bride's entourage arrives.

Dong Hua searches for his fox. Xu Yang finds Ji Heng and Min Su. Jiu slowly recovers. Dong Hua does not.

In the mortal realm, a child is born to the Emperor on a day of disasters. Jiu hears that Dong Hua has been reborn in the mortal world early and worries about his tribulations. Nie ChuYin continues to seek the Soul stone.

Dong Hua finished his love trial, but only recovered part of his cultivation. Chuyin gives the Immortal Soul Capturing Jade to Miao Luo. Bai Feng Jiu returns to Qing Qiu.

Bai Feng Jiu agrees to marry Cang Yi, while drunk and heartbroken. Liang Song and Cheng Yu prepare the Thousand Flower Grand Ceremony together. Dong Hua remembers parts of his mortal trial in a dream but is confused by the official record.

Song Lian tricks Yu into spending more time with him. Preparations for Bai Qian's wedding into Heaven are in full swing. Dong Hua travels to Qing Qiu to welcome the bride and search for his lost fox. Jiu gets in trouble during the wedding.

Lian Song protects Cheng Yu after a mishap. Jiu tries to avoid Dong Hua whenever possible. Jiu fights off a fiery beast but is nearly overcome before Dong Hua saves them. Bai Qian punishes Jiu with a banquet of potential suitors.

After drinking a lot of fruit wine, Bai Feng Jiu is very honest with Dong Hua. Jiu opposes Zhi He's return to Heaven and the feud between them grows stronger. Bets are being made about who Dong Hua is going to marry.

Lian Song improves his new weapon, though Chong Lin may not see it that way. Bai Feng Jiu refuses to reverse her shape-shifting and endures Dong Hua's provocations. Yan Chiwu finally gets his duel with Dong Hua.

Since Chiwu and Jiu have landed in Sanskrit Mountain they cannot get out for another sixty years and fill their time with studies. Chiwu sees Ji Heng and confronts her. The students create a trap for their teacher.

Lian Song gets Si Ming drunk so that he tells him the story between Dong Hua and Bai Feng Jiu. Jiu tries to steal the chestnut, but enters a dream realm, maintained by A'Lanruo, long deceased sister of Queen Ju Nuo. Dong Hua follows her.

Dong Hua and Su Moye discover the origin of Chen Ye and Aranya. Chen Ye wants Bai Feng Jiu to complete the dream and perform the dangerous Phoenix formation. Miao Luo sees an opportunity to become stronger.

Now that the dream is over, Bai Feng Jiu and Dong Hua return to heaven and Feng Jiu has to prepare for Qing Qiu's weapon hiding ceremony. Miao Luo feeds on members of the demon tribe to strengthen herself.

Bai Feng Jiu has an unexpected trouble at her ceremony but Lian Song steps in with a comment that has multiple repercussions. The Demons begin to suspect a traitor. Dong Hua meets Jiu's family as her fiance, causing its own stir.
