Every night Kabouter Plop, a gnome living inside a mushroom, tells the audience about the adventures he and his friends have had that day.

In this Flemish detective series, serious crimes are investigated, usually leading to arrests by the sullen, socially inept detective Tom Segers and his female partner. Together with their police quad, they fight crime from the center to the port of Antwerp. Under the uniform of each character we find a real human of flesh and blood, with his or her love, hope and expectations, but also with many problems and disappointments.

Gert and his speaking dog Samson live together in the 'Dorpstraat 101', where they have lots of funny adventures with their friends. One day, Plop receives a letter from his grandfather, Kabouter Knap, stating that he is very ill. The only thing that can save him is the juice of the carob root. Before the hourglass is emptied, Grandpa Knap can be saved but there is one big problem: Plops grandfather lives on the other side of the gnome forest. Together with Plop's friends, they build a large balloon, so that they fly to Knap in time. Plop stops the juice of the carob root in a basket of puff cakes to keep it safe. But because Plop is so tired, he sinks down on a chair and falls asleep. The next morning, Smul is extremely hungry and, without realizing it, takes the basket with the plop cakes. Plop does not notice this, because he is still sleeping next to the basket of puff cakes. When Smal starts looking for Smul, the hot air balloon rises, with Plop, Klus, Kwebbel and Lui in it. There starts a dangerous journey..

Because of a misunderstanding, Plop turns into the new king. Klus, Kwebbel and Lui move to the palace, while Plop is trained to be a king. Plop is worried. What happened with the real heir to the throne?

Anna puts an end to her marriage after being cheated on by her husband Ben and is bravely trying to get her life back on track. But how can she move on with her life and her children, through whom she is forever connected to her ex?

Twenty years ago, crooks Johna and Ron were able to hide the diamond they stole, just before being arrested, in young Gert's football at the Old Castle Inn owned by Marlène's family. Today, the crooks have escaped and want the loot back. But a contractor has got permission to tear down the ruined inn and build an apartment building on the site, unless it's completely repaired within a week. When Marlène calls him, Gert abandons his planned week of holiday at sea to do the daunting job, helped by the mayor, Van Leemhuyzen and Octaaf. Alberto meanwhile rides through town on his motorbike, trying to get his career launched as a 'flying barber'.

Plop, Klus, Lui and Kwebbel are gathering berries in the forest. Suddenly they hear violin music, which Plop tells must be from the big people living at the edge of the forest, and we see a young girl (granddaughter of a famous female violin player) practicing, with her father nervous for the performance for the audience for the centennial anniversary of her school. Lui goes with Klus to watch the violin itself. Klus climbs up the wall to the window. Just then the girl looks out with her violin, sees Klus, and drops the violin in surprise, and Klus falls as well. The violin breaks. The gnomes escape. The father attempts to repair the violin in the night. Meanwhile, the gnomes cannot sleep, concerned the violin cannot be repaired, and return to the cottage. The father falls asleep on his workbench. The gnomes, intimidated a little by the pet goose, set to work on repairing the violin. One problem emerges when they are half done: one string has broken, something that can only be replaced but not repaired. Plop ponders that the only possible solution lies in seeing the musical gnome Amadeus, who lives in the attic of the music theatre in the big city, which is, however, two days journey away. In another brainwave, Plop strikes a bargain with the goose in return for Plop cookies to carry Lui to Amadeus. Lui flies there, and meets the eccentric Johann Wolfgang Sebastian Amadeus. Lui forgets the violin string for a moment while the others are sleepily repairing the violin. When Lui remembers what he came for, he quickly grabs the one violin string, and returns. Meanwhile, the others have fallen asleep. When they awake, it is by the daughter coming to wake her father, happily surprised that the violin has been repaired. The daughter and the bewildered father leave, but leave the fiddlestick behind. The gnomes help again, and the performance goes beautifully, and that is the end.

Five guys spent their time in prison. Some of them even for murder. Now they want to run a restaurant called Amigo's. But not everything goes how it was supposed to go.

Plop and his friends find a puppy in the forest. They found him cute. If they found out he has a human owner, they decide to bring him back. But this gets them in an unexpected adventure.

Saint Nick and Friends are in great panic when a fellow Black Pete goes missing.

Lui finds a basket with a clown baby inside. He really wants to take care for the baby. Because of a misunderstanding he thinks Plop doesn't like the baby so he keeps it a secret. But Klus and Kwebbel find out his secret.

Each week, Gert Verhulst invites 3 Flemish celebrities to stay at his yacht Evanna. They sleep on the boat from Monday to Thursday. Gert and his sidekick James Cooke make every effort to ensure their guests feel like home, which leads to nice conversations, special actuaries, intimate secrets and occasional piracy.

When the sick Gnome Easter Bunny comes knocking on Plop's door to help him prepare and hide the gnome child's eggs this year, Plop immediately calls all his friends together to help him. While Kwebbel takes care of the sick Easter bunny, Klus makes a real Easter egg machine and all the gnomes help. Only Smul has a bad plan, he wants to steal eggs out of revenge because the Gnome Easter bunny has once forgotten him. But that turns out to be a misunderstanding..

Plop lives in the Melkherberg in the forest where everybody sits together to drink some milk and have cookies. Plop, Klus, Lui, Kwebbel, Smul en Sam love to dance and party. Together they encounter a lot of adventures.
