- Ajit Singh and his younger brother, Ranjeet Singh's marred childhood days forces them to form a gang of bandits. When Ranjeet meets Aasha Sinha he is attracted to her and decides to onus himself from the gang much to the displeasure of his brother and right-hand man, Saru. Ranjeet then re-locates to the city to lead a common man's life with Aasha only to find himself arrested, convicted and imprisoned. Sarju then forcibly takes over as leader of the den of bandits abducting Aasha and holding Ajit as hostages until such time Ranjeet is able to make a compromise. Ranjeet then seeks the assistance of the police but they would only help him conditionally forcing him to escape from prison to free the hostages as well as even scores with Sarju.

- Thakur Chandrabhan lives a wealthy lifestyle in a small village in India. He is widowed and lives with his sister; a widowed daughter-in-law, Saraswati; and a grand-daughter, Tara, who is of marriageable age. Also living in this household is Bholanath, who is blind since birth, and helps with household chores. Tara's marriage is arranged with a young man, Pratap Singh, from a noble family, who approves of Tara, but demands a dowry of 3 Lakh Rupees. Chandrabhan does not have this much money, but Bholanath has been stashing away cash, that is guarded by a snake, and offers all of it to Pratap, who accepts it and absconds. Blind Bhola is unable to pursue him, but is instead bitten by the snake, regains his vision and sets forth to Bombay to locate Pratap. Several weeks later, Bholanath returns home, just in time to be told that he must marry Tara, as she refuses to marry anyone else. Tara notices something very odd about Bholanath as he calls her "Tara', not as "Little Mistress" as he used to; he is terrified of snakes; and seems more cultured and educated. The family decides to get the two engaged, however, the ceremony is interrupted by the arrival of the police, who have an arrest warrant for Bholanath for Theft, and Murder of a young woman named Lucy. The question remains, what was Bholanath up to in Bombay, whose money did he steal, and why did he end up killing Lucy?
- Three jailed convicts, Himmat, his brother Ajit, and Dilawar Khan break out of prison and take over the household of Editor Ashok Rai. The convicts will continue to hold the family hostage until their associate, Kamini contacts them in person.

Shortly thereafter, one night the trio find that a female thief has broken into the mansion, they confront her, find out her name is Roopa, feel sorry for her, and invite her to also live with them. Subsequently, Raju's wife, Kiran, his son, and sister, Rita also move. Then Roopa feels sorry for another homeless man, Kaluram, and also invites him to live in the mansion. The last inmate is a cook by the name of Mishrain, who is also permitted to live there. What Udharchand does not know is that the owner of the mansion has also made himself a member, and he will be the one who will eventually decide the fate of all the trespassers.
- Ranvir Singh is in the employ of Raiszada Hukamchand, who is involved in criminal activities. One day Raiszada kills a man named Victor, and asks Ranvir to take the blame for this crime, for which he offers to pay him a lot of money. Ranvir agrees to do so only after Raiszada gives him a written confession, which he does. Thereafter Ranvir switches his clothes with that of the dead man, and they burn the place down. The dead man is identified as Ranvir Singh by the police, and his family, Mrs. Ranbir Singh, daughter, Geeta, and son, Sumer Singh, are informed of this tragedy. Years later, Sumer comes to know that his father is still alive, and under the name of wealthy Girdharilal, who is married to gorgeous Latika. When Sumer approaches him, he denies being or ever knowing anyone by the name of Girdharilal. Sumer then decides to expose him, little knowing that he is putting his life, as well as the lives of his mom and sister in danger.
- Geeta Lal lives a wealthy lifestyle with her businessman dad, Rattan, who runs a vehicle showroom in Bombay. She meets with Raja, a new-comer to Bombay, and both fall in love with each other. Geeta introduces Raja to her dad, who approves of him, and he sets a date for their formal engagement, which will take place on the same day as Geeta's birthday. Rattan asks Raja to invite his parents, and finds out that his father is deceased, but his mom will be attending the ceremony. On the day of the ceremony, Rattan meets Raja's mom, a woman named Chanchal, and angrily breaks off any contact with Raja. A baffled and heartbroken Geeta must now find out why her dad, first approved Raja, and then rejected him. What Geeta does not know is that Raja does not love her - he is only out to avenge the death of his real mother, who was run over by Rattan's car years ago. Geeta also does not know that Rattan is not her biological father, but a brutal killer, who had knowingly killed her very own father, Madan. Watch as events unfold and the impact these have on Geeta, Rattan, and Raja.

He subsequently loses his job, but Chandra does not give up on him - she not only arranges an introduction with her Poona-based dad, Mangaldas, but also finds employment for him in Indore - not realizing that soon he will be arrested for violating Prohibition Legislation, as well as assaulting her in public.
- Sujit started having mental problems when he was six years after visiting his dad, Ajit, at a mental asylum. Thereafter he kept on getting into trouble, and even ran away from the orphanage. Years later a Musician and Singer, Shyam, found Sujit singing on the roadside, and decided to hire him as a singer in a nightclub. This is where Sujit meets dancer, Jenny, and both fall in love with each other. When they announce their plans to get married, the news does not auger well with the nightclub's owner, Max, an argument ensues, Max draws a gun, and Shyam ends up killing Max. Sujit decides to take the blame, is arrested by the police, he feigns insanity, and is ordered to be admitted in a mental asylum until he recovers. In the asylum he is placed under the compassionate care of Dr. Shalini and about one year later is discharged. He returns to the nightclub just in time to for Jenny's and Shyam's engagement party. Baffled, confused, and angered at this betrayal, he really does go insane and ends up being re-admitted in the very same asylum. But this time his chances of recovery are very slim as he has retreated deep into the inner recesses of his mind - from where he may never return.

Neena, who is wealthy, and has taken crime as a career, finds out and wants Ravi to move in with her, but he turns her down. Then romance enters Ravi's life in the shape and form of Radha, who lives a wealthy lifestyle in Delhi. Both fall in love with each other, Ravi introduces her to his dad, who instantly approves. Then Ravi is invited to visit Delhi to meet Radha's aunt, and it is here that Ravi will come to know Radha's aunt is none other than Neena herself, and he will find out that Radha was merely an attractive bait to lure him and force him to live with his biological mother.

During the marriage, Shanno gets a shock when she sees who her "Kanhaiya" really - the town drunk and slacker, who had taken advantage of her love for Bhagwan Shri Kishan, played with her emotions, and now is bent upon marrying her. Watch what the Village Panchayat does, when Shanno refuses to marry Kanhaiya, and is ready to even light herself on a funeral pyre. And all this happens when the village falls in the grip of a killer plague that may well devastate their community.
- Dreaded gangster Babubhai is involved in all possible criminal activities. Of late his activities are being sabotaged by a fellow criminal named Shankar Dada. Babubhai entraps him with the help of beautiful Bindiya, and gets him on his side with a 50-50 partnership, to which Shankar agrees. Babubhai comes to know that Shankar has a look-alike brother named Ram, who is a police inspector, and has been assigned to this area to put a stop to all criminal activities. Babubhai asks Shankar to copy Ram's mannerisms, and replace him at the police station, which will make Babubhai's criminal syndicate virtually unstoppable, to which Shankar agrees. Ram is abducted and held by Babubhai, while Shankar replaces him at the police station, not realizing that these actions are going to change their lives forever.
- Story of two young brothers estranged during a situational criminal act leading to their long separation. Shankar grows up to be a local thief who spent his childhood in search of his elder brother while having befriended a ranked police officer, Rajesh and his mother, whom he adores. Rajesh's fiancé, Rekha loses her mother in an accident which coincidentally leads to the mysterious return of her estranged father. - Widower Ashok lives a wealthy lifestyle in Bombay, India, along with his son, Kishore, his paternal aunt, a maid-servant, Chanda, and three other employees. He makes a living running an export-import business near Flora Fountain. One day unattended Kishore runs away, a frantic Ashok complains to the Police and puts up a reward of a thousand Rupees. A young woman named Asha, who lives a poor lifestyle, all by herself, finds Kishore, brings him to the Police Station, where he is picked up by Ashok and taken home. Asha refuses to take any reward money. Shortly thereafter Ashok advertises for the position of a governess, Asha applies, is hired, and moves in to live with them. Soon she and Ashok fall in love, much to the chagrin of Ashok's aunt, who wants him to marry her niece. Ashok gets married with Asha nevertheless, the family live in harmony, and Asha gives birth to a male child, Munna. Thereafter Ashok is told that Asha is neglecting Kishore; a necklace that was inexpensive, but a good omen for Kishore goes missing, and is subsequently found on Munna's bed; and a cat dies after drinking poisoned milk that was meant for Kishore. An angered Ashok blames Asha and asks her to leave, and she picks up Munna and leaves. The question remains: Did Asha really neglect, steal and then try to kill Kishore merely because she became a mother herself or was there some other unknown reason(s)?
