The target of Tabula Rasa is the heart of cinema. Voyeuristic desire as the pre-condition for all cinema pleasure is at stake here. Tabula Rasa takes distance, the fundamental principle of voyeurism, in so far literally, as it shows us the object of desire but continually removes it from our gaze.

Santuario Tabula Rasa is an endless ritual that lives outside of the time and space continuum. In the physical realm, the Sanctuary manifests itself in varying physical locations, and for unquantified amounts of time. The last ritual lasted over 8 hours and was held in London, UK. It featured Natalia Esteve, the artist, who through the practice of meditation and Being, traced three no-bodies that succumbed to the Ritual, while surrounded by the energy body of no-hands, and with three musicians enabling the unconcealment of sound through the manifestation of live sound embodiment throughout the whole ritual, from beginning to end, whilst also taking part in the ritual and meditation. The ritual was documented through a live direction by Casa Tomada, and is saved for posterity in an infinite loop that transcends Time, Space, and Being. Natalia Esteve is a Mexican London based Artist whose practice illuminates the inherent concurrence between the undertaking of the Being-process as such and the finite impermanence of the Being that discerns and fathoms it. Through a series of embodied rituals the artist surfaces the experience of the embodiment of the disembodied state of Being in which we encounter the unconcealed - Being as Being noBody. The dissolution: Being understood not as something determinate and stable, but in terms of the conditions for the emergence of entities and worlds out of concealment to unconcealment - the Self as the Self.

Tabula Rasa is the story of a young girl who is being fed hate by her parents in the form of alphabet cereal in which words of prejudice appear. These hateful thoughts haunt her, and she throws up the breakfast. The next day, she prepares love cereal for her parents and cleans their metaphorical mind slates until they return to a blank tablet ("Tabula Rasa"). The family begins again, with love at the core.
