- In the summer of 2012, Annelise Loevlie, had an idea to put together a group of 6 women to journey down to the Southern Hemisphere and compete in Chiles Eye of the Condor ski competition. EOTC is a unique ski photo and video event representing the evolving talent, creativity, and drive of the ski industry. Each team of 4 skiers, 1 filmmaker, and 1 photographer has 5 days to shoot and edit a film and photo portfolio. We called ourselves The Icey Ladies, the only team of all women. At EOTC 2012, The Icey Ladies won Best Video. We decided we had to return. This is a compilation of our 2 years of EOTC... our effort to share with the world what we love.
- Team Icelantic represented with style at The Eye of the Condor 2, a 7-day photo and video competition in La Parva, Chile this August, bringing home the title for Best Video 2012. The film was directed, filmed, and edited by Katy-Robin Garton of Sprout Films, photographed by Roberta Rebori of Roberta Rebori Photography, from Chile; and Representing Icelantic on skis is Kaylin Richardson, Alex Taran, Rebecca Selig, and Annelise Loevlie. Before converging in La Parva on the first day of the competition, the group had never met, let alone worked together. This was also Sprout Film's first ever venture into the ski film world. Incredible experience with phenomenal women. Viva Chile!
