- The city of Tampere is about to host an important international conference on environmental issues. At the local TV studios, floor manager Tapani starts discovering mysterious things happening around script supervisor Helena, his new mistress. Her loss of short-term memory seems easily explained by an accident at the studios but makes it all the more difficult for Tapani to unfold the rest of the mystery around her, something involving phones being tapped, people getting killed and whatever it was that happened earlier in England while Tapani and Helena were shooting a documentary there. The intricate plot is told in a non-linear fashion where scenes are repeated and intertwined in various ways to give them new meanings with every viewing.

- Europe's richest greyhound race takes place at Peterborough's Fengate Stadium. However, trainers and owners will not find this six-bend contest listed in any racing calendar as it is the dramatic final scenes of the new feature film, Six Bend Trap, already being dubbed a 'cult classic', with the final scenes actually shot at Peterborough Stadium. Billed as a cross between The Full Monty and Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, the gritty drama stars former East End gangster Dave Courtney. The film's creator and writer is Mike McCarthy, whose television credits include Boys From The Blackstuff and Spender added: The film is a darkly humorous, gritty drama, but it is not a gangster film and the integrity of greyhound racing is not compromised. The film's plot centres on a ruthless, rich businessman, Gordy Metcalf, who is played by Dave Courtney, who owns the best greyhound in the country. An ex-trainer sets a trap for three young men from a poor estate in North East England, who go on to train a dog which takes on the businessman's greyhound in a match-race at the Peterborough final. And the final is run over Fengate's six bends - hence the film's title.
- Over the course of a few week's filmmaker and extreme adventurer, Paul Suggitt made himself homeless to film a documentary of what life is like living on the streets and the impact it can have on a person. From turf wars, violence between the homeless, violence towards the homeless, true stories from homeless people on how they manage to live day-to-day, and the reaction to the homeless from the public, living on the streets is very tough. Covid has reduced the footfall of the public on the streets and in town centres, so "tapping" produces little money for the homeless to buy food, and those generous members of the public who buy food for the homeless are not around like they used to be. Homeless charities are reporting record numbers of people needing help with food, clothing and accommodation, so what is it really like to live on the streets? All homeless people featured in the documentary were provided with support outside of filming to help them find accommodation and they were provided with a dedicated outreach person to liaise with the authorities on their behalf.
