Conny Van Dyke was born to Benjamin and Charlotte Elizabeth Van Dyke. Her only sibling, Benjamin Van Dyke III, was killed in an auto accident near Salinas, California, in 1969. Conny began as a songwriter and recording artist for Wheelsville Records in Detroit, Michigan, and was soon signed to Motown, making her the first white recording artist for the label. She was named Miss Teen USA in 1963. In 1967 Hollywood "discovered" her at an auto show in Detroit, and she was soon cast in Hell's Angels (1969) with Tom Stern, Jeremy Slate, and the several members of the real Hell's Angels. Shortly after the film, she married Robert Page and had a son, Bronson Page. She continued to pursue recording, and released a self-titled album in 1972. She then co-starred in W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings (1975) with Burt Reynolds. Another album, "Conny Van Dyke Sings For You", followed the film. In 1974 she co-starred in Framed (1975), with Joe Don Baker. After this film she turned her sights to television, and became a recurring face on Adam-12 (1968) and Police Woman (1974), as well as appearing on over 1000 game shows in the 1970s, including Match Game PM (1975), You Don't Say (1978), Crosswits (1987), The Hollywood Squares (Daytime) (1965) and The Gong Show (1976). Her career is marked by thousands of public appearances from Caesar's Palace to Radio City Music Hall. Thomas F. Harris (Tom) was born in Hollywood, Florida, and he started acting in high school musicals and one-act plays. He continued stage acting in college, where his last play was "Shenandoah" in 1981. At that point, Tom joined the Army for a 20-year stint.
After the Army and other jobs, amounting to a 32-year break from acting, Tom discovered a community theater company in Richmond Hill, GA, where he currently resides. He started right away with parts larger than those in high school and college, and he has been in most of their shows ever since. Tom even had a hand in directing and producing as well.
Tom got into film acting by getting into "SpongeBob: A Sponge Out of Water" as an extra. He discovered that the film school in Savannah (SCAD) was always looking for actors, and so took many roles in student films - some of them as leads. He has been in support roles for feature and TV shows, such as "Greg" in "Odie: Based on the Odyssey by Homer," as "Peter" in "Living the Dream" (Season 1, episode 2), and as "Junkyard Manager" in "Meant to be Broken."
Tom also worked as producer for the short film "Assorted," which won Best Film at the 48-Hour Film Project in Savannah, GA, and all films created by Irish Pizza Productions, such as "Perfect Match."- Michel Giroud was born in 1940 in Saint-Pierre-d'Allevard, Isère, France.
