Attractive, sexy vocalist who started out singing in her native Puerto Rico in 1946. Her warm husky voice and sultry style was ideal for the steamy love ballads she sang. At the same time she certainly had fashion sense and was always perfectly groomed achieving a most glamorous image that was irresistible to the public that followed her from night club to night club. Soon she became a successful recording artist and began working in the best venues of Latin America and Europe with long residencies especially in Mexico and Cuba where she was immensely popular for decades.
Miss Fabery made guest appearances in a few films and sang in numerous television shows throughout the continent. As the years passed, her style developed towards Latin jazz and she recorded several albums in this vein backed by excellent jazz musicians.
