Natasha Henstridge was born on August 15, 1974 in Springdale, Newfoundland, Canada. Known for movies like Species (1995) and The Whole Nine Yards (2000), she started her career as a model in Paris, France at the tender age of 15. After leaving home to begin her modeling career in the highly-competitive Paris fashion world, she landed her first cover of French Cosmopolitan and graced the covers of many international fashion magazines, appearing in commercials for Oil of Olay, Lady Stetson and Old Spice. Seeking a greater challenge, Natasha pursued her love of acting and, at only 19, landed the starring role of the science-fiction thriller Species (1995), opposite Sir Ben Kingsley and Forest Whitaker. The film became a worldwide hit critically and commercially and Natasha received praise for her performance as the genetically-modified Sil, including an MTV Award. Percy Hynes White has been acting since the age of two, beginning with performances in short films in and around his hometown of St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.
By age 9, he was playing the lead in "Winners," and soon was chosen for leading roles in other short films, including "The Confessional" and "Little Man." Percy was featured in Don McKellar's "The Grand Seduction," which premiered at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.
Since then, he has starred in "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb"; "Our House" opposite Thomas Mann and Nicola Peltz; "Milton's Secret," with Donald Sutherland; and "Rupture," opposite Noomi Rapace.
Percy Hynes White also had the lead role in "Edge of Winter," opposite Joel Kinnaman and Tom Holland; and "Cast No Shadow," which earned him Best Actor at the 2014 Atlantic Film Festival and the Rising Star Award at the 2014 Edmonton International Film Festival.

Shannon Tweed was born in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. She rose to stardom as Miss November 1981 for Playboy magazine. Allan Hawco (Actor, Writer, Executive Producer) is one of the country's most recognizable stars, whose wide range of talents appeal to audiences of all ages. He has the unique ability to connect to the audience as an actor and from behind the scenes, as a writer and producer. He was born on Bell Island, and raised in The Goulds in Newfoundland.
Allan is well-known for his roles as co-creator, show-runner, writer, executive producer and star in the hit CBC television drama/comedy Republic of Doyle, under his own production company Take the Shot Productions. Allan played the lead, Jake Doyle, the roguish and irreverent private investigator. In addition to its six season run on CBC, Republic of Doyle was sold to markets around the world, including syndication across the US.
In addition to Republic of Doyle (2010-2014), Allan starred in some of the most acclaimed television productions in Canada including Murdoch Mysteries (2013), ZOS: Zone of Separation (The Movie Network, 2008), political thrillers H20 (CBC, 2004) and Trojan Horse (CBC, 2007), as well as World War II drama Above & Beyond (CBC, 2006). Allan also starred opposite Cuba Gooding Jr. in the CBC miniseries, The Book of Negroes (2015).
Allan's feature film credits include major roles in Director Bruce McDonald's Award Winning film Weirdos; and Director/Actor Paul Gross' Hyena Road. Take The Shot Productions, is in production for season 3 of the award winning Television show Frontier, starring Jason Momoa, a Netflix Worldwide and Discovery Channel Canada series filmed on location in St. John's, N.L., Northern England, Scotland, and Cornwall, U.K. Frontier was created and written by Rob and Peter Blackie. Acclaimed directors on the series include Brad Peyton and John Vatcher. In addition to producing the series, Allan also plays the leading character Douglas Brown in Season 1, 2, and 3 serves as Executive Producer to the show.
Allan's upcoming project Caught is another highly anticipated show by his production company. Allan's new series Caught, in which he stars alongside Paul Gross, Eric Johnson, Tori Anderson and Enuka Okuma will air on CBC Monday February 26th, 2018. Born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada, Shawn Doyle has become a familiar face to audiences worldwide, turning out critically acclaimed performances on both the big and small screen.
With his move to Los Angeles in 2005, Shawn quickly amassed an impressive list of credits with recurring roles on Desperate Housewives (2004) and 24 (2001), and guest-star roles on Lie to Me (2009), _"Terriers"(2010)_, Dark Blue (2009), Lost (2004), Numb3rs (2005) and Blind Justice (2005). In 2010 he said goodbye to his regular role as Joey in the hit series Big Love (2006) to portray the brilliant, charismatic and egocentric Balagan in Endgame (2011).

Mark O'Brien is an award-winning actor and filmmaker. He is an English major with a Bachelor of Arts from Memorial University of Newfoundland. His mother was a nurse and his father a truck driver. Mark also has three older sisters. Gordon Edward Pinsent was born on July 12, 1930 in Grand Falls, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, to Florence (Cooper) and Stephen Arthur Pinsent. Gordon was known as "Porky" as a child, and dreamed of performing as early as he can remember. He served with the Royal Canadian Regiment from 1948-51. Gordon received an L.L.D. from the University P.E.I. in 1975, an Honorary doctorate from Queen's University in 1988, as well as from the Memorial University of Newfoundland and the University of Prince Edward Island.
Gordon left Newfoundland at the age of 17 and began his career on stage. His first theatrical experiences were in Winnipeg, Manitoba. While there, he was involved in the first live radio drama out of Winnipeg. He eventually moved east, working in Toronto and Stratford, Ontario. He has since won numerous credits and awards, and is one of Canada's most well-respected artists.
In addition to acting, he directs and produces, and has written a number of novels and screenplays, as well as plays for the stage, including 'Corner Green' for the Newfoundland amateur drama festival. The play was staged in St. John's, Newfoundland in April of 1997, and was was based upon life his hometown of Grand Falls, Newfoundland.
He is a member of the Honorary Advisory Board for the Newfoundland Symphony Youth Orchestra, and is very active in various charities. His humorous and poignant autobiography, "By the Way", was published.
His wife until her death was actress Charmion King, whom he met during his early theater days. He has a daughter, actress Leah Pinsent, from that union, as well as a son and daughter from an earlier marriage (Barry and Beverly Kennedy). Terry Ryan, raised in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador, was a professional hockey player for 7 years - highlighted by appearing in 8 NHL games. He retired in 2007, released a best-selling book entitled "Tales of a First Round Nothing", and began a career in the arts.
Ryan now works in the film industry and has appeared on several episodes of the hit CBC television program Republic of Doyle, playing small roles. He has also played himself in the OLN's "Road Hockey Rumble" (2008). He released his first book, "Tales of a First Round Nothing" in May 2014, and it was well received by critics.
Ryan is now also trying his hand at stand up comedy and performed his second show to good reviews opening for Gerry Dee at the General Motors Centre in Oshawa, Ontario on April 22, 2016.
In addition to playing "British Soldier #1" (Episode 1) - (the first on-screen casualty in the Netflix/Discovery Channel television series Frontier, starring Jason Momoa in the lead role), in 2017 Ryan also had small roles in Frontier Season 2, Little Dog (CBC), Caught (CBC), Schitt's Creek, and various short films. In 2018, he wrote and played the lead role in a short film called "A Stand In", played "Coyote" in Justin Oakey's A Fire In The Cold Season. Matt Wells is a Canadian actor, writer, and musician born in St. John's, Newfoundland best known for his work in the award winning and critically acclaimed independent film "Crown and Anchor" which he created, produced and co-starred.
His path began writing songs and fronting the notorious Newfoundland punk/hardcore band Bucket Truck; releasing 4 albums, 10 self-produced music videos, and traveling the world while sharing stages with Slayer, Damage Plan, Fishbone, and Lagwagon. This journey directly led to him embarking on a career as an acclaimed music/film journalist for Much Music, The New Music, Bravo and MTV where Matt has interviewed everyone from The Police, Quentin Tarantino, Lee Daniels, and John Lydon to Lou Reed, Mariah Carey, Ben Kingsley, Zack Snyder and Lady Gaga.
