Ryan Clausen is a Writer, Director, Editor and Producer living in Tucson, Arizona. Ryan is originally from Maple Valley, Washington, where he began making films at the age of 13. Following three years of video production courses in High School, Ryan attended New York Film Academy at the Universal Studios campus in Los Angeles. His thesis film, We're All Zombies, would go on to be the first of his short films and screenplays to be featured at film festivals across the country. Notable selections include the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) where his short film, Guilty Shoes, won an Audience Choice Award, and HollyShorts Screenplay Contest where his script, Homecoming, was a quarter finalist.
In addition to making his own films, Ryan has served as an editor, camera op, and PA on various other projects in Los Angeles, Seattle, and Tucson. He was a writer and teleprompter operator for the 5 on 20 News on the now defunct local access channel Creative Tucson. He also co-wrote the comic book, Twerkfoot, the story of a Sasquatch that learns how to twerk.
