He was born into an artistic family. His father, Adolf Ilin, was a famous actor in The Sverdlovsk Theater and then in The Mayakovsky Theater in Moscow. In 1948 he graduated from the film actor school in Sverdlovsk, in 1955 - the directing department of GITIS. Ufimtsev acted in the films Dnevnye zvyozdy (1968), Podpasok s ogurtsom (1979), Esli verit Lopotukhinu... Eryomin was born in the city of Sverdlovsk. His father and mother moved to Sverdlovsk from the Tyumen region in the late 20s. The family had three children. Elder brother Anatoliy, sister Iraida and Stanislav. After the birth of Stanislav, the family moved to Verkhneyvinsk. Here passed Stanislav's childhood, were taken the first steps in sports.
