Pure Goofiness and Entertainment
I went to watch the film on its first day in theaters, and what a wonderful experience it was! I really enjoyed watching the film, given how amazingly it was made. I'll rate each and every part of the movie, and finally, I'll share my overall rating for the film.
Before we dive into rating each part, I'd like to take a moment to talk about how much I admired the opening scene. It was incredible to see the main actors and crew members being credited, and Deadpool was scene fighting fabulously while also dancing to the song that was playing. In my opinion, this was undoubtedly one of the best openings to any superhero film in Hollywood, and perhaps the best opening to any Marvel Cinematic Universe film to date. Impressive!
I'd give this movie a 9 out of 10 for its background music and song selection. From the very start, with the iconic "Bye Bye Bye" by *NSYNC followed by "Like a Prayer" by Madonna, it's a masterpiece. Additionally, I was captivated by how each soundtrack seamlessly integrated into every scene of the film. I loved most soundtracks that were used in this film.
The film's storyline didn't really impress me. I can't claim to be the biggest admirer of the film's script sequencing. It appeared to be somewhat basic, which is why I'd rate it a 3 or 4 out of 10. There were no plot twists that made the storyline particularly engaging. One shouldn't expect anything extraordinary from the storyline before watching the film. The script mostly felt disjointed and scattered.
The cameos, along with the appropriate screen time for each character and nods to previous Marvel films, were almost flawless! In fact, if I were to delve further into the cameos without revealing any spoilers, I'd say you'd be pleasantly surprised by who appears. For fans of Marvel films, this cameo is particularly special. Apart from that, the other main characters were also given justice in terms of screen time, and it didn't feel like it was unfair if we had more or less screen time for any character in the film. That one cameo is what truly makes me want to rate this film a 9/10 in that category.
In terms of acting, all the actors delivered an absolute masterpiece. I'd rate it a perfect 10 out of 10. It was superb work! Personally, and I believe many viewers who watched the film would concur, Ryan Reynolds' portrayal of Deadpool was unparalleled. Indeed, out of all the Deadpool films released so far, his performance in this one stands out as the best, although the other appearances were also quite impressive, of course. I'd also like to give props to the one and only Hugh Jackman for his incredible acting as Wolverine. I believe no other actor can pull off that role better than he can. Moreover, I'd like to take a moment to appreciate how hard he must have worked to attain that mind-blowing physique, being almost 50 years old. The depiction of every emotion was executed perfectly by all actors that fit right in the relevant parts of the film.
In terms of CGI and other forms of animation, this film once again receives a perfect 10/10. The budget allocated for the high-quality CGI and other forms of animation in this film was undoubtedly more than sufficient and well worth the investment. Incredible work!
In my opinion, Shawn Levy, the film's director, excelled in creating an incredibly captivating movie. I also loved the jokes and humor in the film that made it so goofy, yet entertaining to watch. I think the way Deadpool engages with the audience in this film, even poking fun at some crew members, actors, and the studios producing the film, just stands out from any other Hollywood film. And, who other than the legendary Ryan Reynolds could pull off humor at such great strengths? These days, given how easily people get offended by almost the littlest things, forcing filmmakers to hold back on some of the things they display in the film, it didn't feel as in this movie as they took the risk of being as edgy as they could have been, which also left me pretty impressed. This movie brought back real fun. Thus, in terms of this, I'd like to rate this category of the film a 10 out of 10.

Nonetheless, it's undeniably one of Marvel's most watchable films, especially considering the recent string of disappointing releases. I encourage everyone, especially before the internet is inundated with spoilers for this film, to watch it if you're a true fan of Deadpool, Wolverine, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole. Trust me, it's worth it!
