Its the weakest of the new Planet of the Apes movies, because this time it focuses too much on the apes. Apart from the main human female protagonist who doesnt talk that much during the movie, you dont get much screen time with humans. Moreover the movie has pacing issues, its too slow to progress the story, and lingers on presenting irrelevant and often boring ape societal/cultural information. The movie takes you through various ruins of human civilization, which are very well made. At the end it sets the stage for the next apes movie, with a slight hint that things are going to heat up between apes and humans. All an all an impressive AAA production. Its a semi good movie if you are a fan of the Apes franchise, if you're not then you'll probably be bored.
