Aayush had done better than expected!
25 December 2021
From a sluggish Screenplay to an overly flamboyant display; Antim had a hard time presenting its case in a serious manner. Despite possessing a powerful enough story about Ramifications and Deliverance; the script was simply unable to deliver on the said promises.

Being the official remake of 2018's Marathi feature 'Mulshi Pattern'; Antim unquestionably had large shoes to fill. I'm afraid, due to that same reason, this whole operation crumbled under pressure and ultimately failed to do justice to the source material.

Although thankfully, not all had gone against the film's intentions. Doesn't matter how over the top and superficial the Action might have been; I have reaped my share of the entertainment and I'm glad about it.

Speaking of technicalities, the Score was enervating, thus adding to its charm. Whereas the Cinematography might not win them an award anytime soon but it did just enough to compliment the overall gritty & murky essence of the narrative.

Now, when it comes down to Performances; as one would expect, most of the emphasis and attention was purposefully directed towards Rahul and Rajveer; played by Aayush Sharma and Salman Khan respectively. As for Salman; he had done everything to cater to his own set of audiences.

The more interesting case however is with his brother-in-law Aayush here. In all honesty, I quite admire what he had personally brought into this character. I agree it was nowhere near what it could have been, nor do I deny the fact that there was indeed much room for improvements. Still as a newcomer, I do believe; Aayush has the right to at least some amount of the acknowledgement.
