An unspoken rule goes into bringing together a show about young adults in their twenties: they must be hot. Like, The CW hot. Tell Me Lies has certainly stuck the landing.
If the petty drama and nonstop destruction of reputations manage to pull you in, you’ll be treated with enough eye candy to cause diabetes.
If we’re going to have handsome hunks thrown in our faces, we should at least know where else we can stalk – I mean, watch them.
(Josh Stringer/Disney)
Where there are pretty people on TV, there are petty problems!
With Tell Me Lies Season 2 just about doubling up on the man-meat, it’s time to get to the bottom of where Hulu found these gorgeous guys to play such “unique” characters.
Get ready to swipe right, ladies and gentlemen, because we have a lineup of suitable bachelors for you today!

Halloween isn't just for children. That's why whenever scary season rolls around, you need a music playlist that keeps everyone in mind - from the kids who love the latest ghoulish Disney Channel Original Movie musical to those who got down to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" when it first came out in the '80s.
That's also why you have to get creative when it comes to the spooky songs you choose for your Allhallows' Eve playlists. If you only include songs that are explicitly Halloween-themed, like "Monster Mash" by Bobby "Boris" Pickett and the Crypt-Kickers or "This Is Halloween" from "The Nightmare Before Christmas," the tunes could get stale real quick. So remember to work in music that has Halloween vibes, too.
Jimin's "Filter" may not strike you as a Halloween song at first but with lyrics like, "I can be your genie / How about Aladdin? / I'll be...

Key Takeaways: The television adaptation of Leigh Bardugo's Ninth House is underway, sparking discussion about which actors would be best to portray the characters, particularly Daniel Arlington (Darlington). The actor playing Darlington must embody an academic yet passionate spirit. Freddy Carter, known for his role in Netflix's Shadow and Bone, could be a major draw as an actor for the role of Darlington due to his success and ability to portray the character. Other potential candidates include Thomas Doherty, Charlie Rowe, Cameron Chapman, Benjamin Wadsworth, Louis Partridge, and Nicholas Galitzine. The casting for Ninth House is crucial for the success of the series, and if the actors can accurately portray their characters and bring the story to life, the show has the potential to be a major success in the fantasy television genre.

Prom is a pivotal moment in every high schooler’s life. For Ruby Gillman (voiced by To All the Boys’ Lana Condor) and her friends, the plan was to pivot away from prom night entirely and enjoy a group hang instead. Shunning the formalwear rite of passage also meant Ruby could obey her mum’s rule of staying away from the ocean. A school dance on a boat would mean sailing dangerously close to the line she must never cross and Ruby determines to stay on dry land.
But teens are contrary creatures and as Ruby’s friends pair off it becomes increasingly obvious that the lure of prom is too strong to resist. And Ruby’s crush on fellow mathlete and effortlessly cool skateboarder Connor (Jaboukie Young-White) is compelling her to don a cute gown and follow the crowd…
Ruby’s parents are divided on how much freedom to give their girl.

From Disney darling to pop star, Dove Cameron's career has undergone quite the evolution since she began acting in her early teens. The versatile actor's earliest fans grew up alongside her as she played identical twins "Liv and Maddie" for four seasons on the hit Disney Channel show. But Cameron's professional acting career began even earlier, when she memorably guest-starred in two episodes of "Shameless" as Holly Herkimer, a young woman who was interested in Lip Gallagher (Jeremy Allen White).
Cameron's early work in "Shameless" and "Liv and Maddie" showed off the actor's range. Right from the start of her career, it was clear she could pull off comedic and dramatic roles, just as she could pivot between family-friendly fare and more daring projects. In recent years, she's continued to challenge herself as an actor with roles in B.J. Novak's directorial debut, "Vengeance" and Hulu's comedic...

Dancing With the Stars' season 30 contestants had a good time being bad. On Tuesday, Oct. 12, the ABC competition series finished up its two-part Disney-themed week with "Disney: Villains Night," which followed Monday's heroes-focused episode. No one went home last night, which sadly meant saying goodbye to two duos this time around. As to be expected, the pairs went all out on the elaborately villainous costumes. Some of the most memorable transformations included The Miz as a particularly fierce version of The Lion King's Scar, JoJo Siwa rocking purple hair as Mal from Descendants 2, and Suni Lee going with a seasonally appropriate look as Winifred from the...

But on this day in late July, just a few weeks after the debut of his breakout TV role, Doherty isn’t kissing anybody.
The 26-year-old Scottish actor logs on to a Zoom call, dressed in a blue hoodie. His eyes are groggy; his voice sounds hoarse, and his words are interrupted by a throaty cough. Apparently not even our brightest TV stars are impervious to Covid-19, which Doherty contracted a few days ago — postponing our photo shoot and an in-person meeting.
“It’s mild, fortunately,” says Doherty, who briefly lost his sense of smell and taste.

Dove Cameron is showing off her new love. On Friday, April 2, the Disney actress proved she has completely moved on from her ex, her Descendants 2 co-star Thomas Doherty, after they broke up in October 2020. Toward the end of the video, a close-up shot of sparkling lips declares, "What are you waiting for?" The next clip shows Dove, in a Dolce and Gabbana crop top, running off the set in a seemingly candid moment. The 25 year old has a huge grin on her face as she hugs Alexander 23, wrapping her arms around his shoulders, before they...

Dove Cameron and Thomas Doherty have called it quits after three years together. On Friday, Dove confirmed their split on her Instagram and Twitter, revealing that the two had parted ways in October. "The decision was incredibly difficult, but we still have love for each other, and will remain friends. Thank you for allowing us our privacy in this time," she wrote. Thomas has yet to comment on the breakup.
Dove and Thomas first connected on the set of Descendants 2 back in late 2016, and it didn't take long for a romantic relationship to blossom. The actress and singer officially confirmed their relationship in February 2017, and the two went on to share many red carpet appearances and glimpses of their romance on social media. The reason for the split has not been disclosed.

Hello! It’s been a while since we found out that Disney+ UK’s launch would be running around five months behind its debut in the Us and we’ve certainly had a grumble about it, as we’re fond of doing here on days with ‘y’s’ in them, but the streaming service is finally coming to this green and, er, pleasant land later this month.
Looking ahead to what we can expect to find on the platform, we’ve grabbed an official list of movies, TV series and specials streaming on Disney+ UK at launch, and hopefully you’ll find something that excites you on it. If not? Ehh, there are always those other ten bajillion streaming providers to choose from.
Indeed, you’ll notice a lot of these titles were previously staples of the defunct Disney+ Life app, which is being fully replaced by Disney+, and there...

Disney stars Dove Cameron and Thomas Doherty make such a sweet couple that it's hard to imagine a time when they weren't together. You might have even forgot Dove used to be engaged to someone else. Before she and Thomas connected on the set of Descendants 2 in late 2016, Dove was in a relationship with her Liv and Maddie costar Ryan McCartan, whom she dated for about three years before he popped the question in April 2016. Unfortunately, less than six months later, the two decided to go their separate ways, and by December, Dove was igniting romance rumors with a new suitor.

Thomas Doherty isn’t actually a rock star in real life, but he could have fooled us.
The 24-year-old Scottish actor plays Liam on Hulu’s “High Fidelity” the 19-year-old rock musican who has a brief fling with Zoë Kravitz’ character Robyn “Rob” Brooks on the gender-flipped remake of the classic 2000 film starring John Cusack.
In real life, the actor is actually dating actress and singer Dove Cameron, with whom he starred in Disney Channel’s “Descendants 2.”

He’s also known for playing the role of Peter Zavadovsky opposite Helen Mirren on HBO’s “Catherine the Great.”

Disney Channel's Descendants 3 has racked up a big audience — particularly among the cable network's core kid and tween viewers — continuing a strong run for the franchise.
The movie, which premiered Friday, wasn't quite as big a draw as the previous two movies, but it did pull the highest ratings in several kid demographics for any cable telecast since Descendants 2 in July 2017.

Disney Channel’s Descendants saga reached its epic conclusion on Friday, rewarding its heroes and villains — and everyone in between! — with the happy endings they deserve.
Before you weigh in, let’s recap: Descendants 3 begins with Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay returning home to announce which four villain kids will join them at Auradon Prep. Promoted as “Vk Day,” it’s a very big deal, complete with its own musical number. And given how boring life is on the Isle of the Lost, it’s fair to assume these kids have been doing nothing but rehearsing this choreography for months.

What’s old is new again – especially if you’re an old vampire who looks young. The Legacies Comic-Con panel confirmed that adage today, as Thomas Doherty was announced as appearing in The CW drama’s second season.
Doherty, a Scottish actor best known for his role as Harry Hook in the Disney Channel’s Descendants 2 and Descendants 3 films, will likely have some designs on Lizzie, the witch who has dallied with werewolf Rafael and vampire Mg in season one. The Comic-Con panel confirmed that Mg will be “moving on” in the coming season, so there is an opening.

Promoting strong female characters was very much on brand for several of Disney Channel’s star characters at Saturday’s Disney Channel Fan Fest held at California Adventure Park, a day-long event that treated kids and their families to a bevy of fan-focused activities, from Q&A sessions to musical performances and meet and greets with Disney Channel stars.
Sofia Carson, who stars as Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen in Disney Channel’s original movies “Descendants” and “Descendants 2,” revealed that in the third installation her character will continue to be a positive role model for young viewers.

Disney Channel has produced a handful of iconic movie musicals over the years, and now the next generation of stars is taking the reins with the Descendants franchise. The film, which centers around the children of classic Disney heroes and villains, first premiered in 2015 to rave reviews and was eventually followed up with an equally successful sequel in 2017. While past DCOMs have failed to amount to the same success as The Cheetah Girls and High School Musical, the Descendants franchise has risen to the occasion with its catchy numbers and original storytelling, which is in large part due to director and choreographer Kenny Ortega.
Now, the franchise is taking things up a notch with the release of Descendants 3 this Summer. While all the original characters - or villain kids as the fandom calls them - will be back in action, there will also be a few new faces in the mix,...

“The Greatest Showman” was met by a so-so critical reception, but the P.T. Barnum biopic starring Hugh Jackman has taken on a life of its own. In addition to grossing $435 million and picking up Best Picture and Best Actor nods in the Golden Globes’ Musical or Comedy category, the film outsold every other album released by year — and it isn’t even close. Not only was it the only album to sell more than a million copies, but its 1.3 million sales more than doubled that of its closest competitor, the soundtrack to “A Star Is Born,” which sold 525,000 albums.
That figure comes with a caveat, however, as the Bradley Cooper/Lady Gaga version of the musical and its accompanying Ost weren’t released until early October. Still, it’s notable that the two highest-selling albums of the year were both soundtracks, a development that suggests musical-obsessed moviegoers are more...

In a music world where streaming services now overwhelmingly rule the market, who still actually bothers to buy albums? One obvious answer: people who also buy movie tickets.
BuzzAngle Music’s newly released data for 2018 shows that the two top selling albums of the year were the soundtracks for “The Greatest Showman” and “A Star Is Born.” By BuzzAngle’s calculations, which include an accumulation of individual track sales as well as pure album units, “Greatest Showman” was the sole million seller of the year, racking up 1.3 million in album sales. “A Star Is Born,” which was only released in time for fourth-quarter sales, came in second, with 525,000 albums.
The competition wasn’t even close in the album sales category. The year’s third biggest selling album, Justin Timberlake’s “Man of the Woods,” lagged far behind with 377,000.

Ariana Greenblatt has been one of the strongest contestants in season one of “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors,” but she had a scare on Halloween Night, getting her lowest score of the season for what I thought was a pretty darn good paso doble (watch it above). Were the judges right to be so tough on her, or were they “Wicked” for no reason?
Mentor Brandon Armstrong cracked the whip when training Greenblatt and her partner Artyon Celestine for their paso doble — which Greenblatt thought sounded more like “Picasso.” But she got the job done when it counted, bringing lots of intensity to their dance to “Ways to Be Wicked” from the Disney Channel musical “Descendants 2.” However, judge Adam Rippon wanted to see more emotional “range” from the young dancer, Mandy Moore thinks she needs to be challenged more, and Val Chmerkovskiy wanted to see more proper choreographic content.

The “Dancing with the Stars” two-night Halloween event started with the “Juniors” on Sunday night. The kids’ fright fest brought out breakthrough performances from a couple of rising contestants, while another early favorite “descended” on the leaderboard and we cried boo-hoo over the elimination at the end of the night. So who do you think gave the best performances, who gave the worst performances, and did the judges and studio audience get it right with the season’s fifth elimination?
As you might have guessed above, it was Alana Thompson — aka Honey Boo Boo from the reality series “Toddlers and Tiaras” and “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” — who was eliminated when Halloween Night was over. Her scores had improved slightly since week one, and she seemed to have the support of the studio audience, so it looked like she had a ghost of a chance to advance pretty far in the competition.

The made-for-tv movie was a programming staple for the broadcast networks in the 1970s and 1980s. While it fell out of favor in the 1990s and was even dropped as an Emmy Awards category for three years beginning in 2011, it has been on an upswing as of late. This year, 34 telefilms are in contention for the five nominations that will be revealed on July 12.
All 22,000 plus voting members of the TV academy have until June 25 to cast their ballots for their favorite TV movies. In the past, voters were limited in the number of telefilms that they could put forth. Last year, that cap (which was usually 10 per category) was lifted. And, as opposed to the Oscars, voters for the Emmys do not rank their choices and nominees are determined by a simple tally.
