If you're looking for a thriller that has you on the edge of your seat while also touching each one of your emotions, Chad Ridgely's film "Self Isolated" it is. From the very beginning you're drawn in and invited to piece together the puzzle of what's occurred, only to find the picture is not what you expected. The storyline, especially the ending, will have you thinking about the film long after the credits roll. I believe this film is very well rounded because it has you fearful while also having you laughing and even crying at some parts. I highly recommend seeing Self Isolated whenever you have the chance.
I had no idea a thriller could touch all my senses. I normally gravitate to straight up comedies - thankfully I was fortunate enough to catch this creative work of art. I laughed, teared up and jumped out of my seat (several times) while my mind was frantic, trying to unravel this unique chain of events. Treat yourself and your friends to the experience of "Self Isolated" -
Well done! Self Isolated had me glued to my chair waiting to see what was going to happen, and the payoff was excellent. The film has a great cast. The Walter character was superb and totally kept me riveted. He's so creepy! The character of Susan was pretty amazing, and I felt like I was right there with her trying to figure out what was wrong with her.
The pacing of the film is perfect and the images are visually quite good and even stunning at parts. I liked the twists and it caught me off guard in a good way. Highly recommend this movie if you're looking for a good thriller to keep you on the edge of your seat!

I went into this expecting a standard dramatic thriller and left with my mind blown. Self Isolated is way more than a thriller. It's a love story, it's a mystery, it's a drama, it's a thriller with a little bit of action in there also. Mostly, it's way better and way more than I thought I'd see. I dare say I loved it.
Susan awakens from a coma and is all alone. She's hooked up to machines and she's not sure what has happened or where her husband is. Her memory of what got her into this situation is foggy at best and she has quick flashbacks that provide some clues.
As she begins her search for answers she encounters a neighbor named Walter who takes a peculiar interest in Susan. It's obvious he knows something but isn't telling, and Susan knows it too. So begins a sneaky game of cat and mouse as Susan looks for answers while trying to dodge Walter. Both performers are excellent, and the tension is palpable, especially when Walter shows up uninvited.
I don't want to give anything away, but there is a lot of symbolism in this movie. The story has a lot of layers, and a remarkable twist which makes me want to go back and watch it again, because the director has sprinkled subtle clues throughout the movie that only fully come to bear at the end.
The movie does a great job of capturing all the human emotions and making you feel them as well. It's a touching film and really well done that I am going to watch again.
