Lazarus Episode 3 Review: Character Depth Can’t Outrun a Sluggish Story

[spoilers]
Lazarus keeps outdoing itself with every episode. The second episode was better than the first, and the third episode continues this trend by revealing Doug’s past as an academic researcher. While Doug’s past brought us closer to him, Skinner’s past has me questioning what drove the man to create Hapna.
The episode also improves on the second episode by allowing the other characters to take up the spotlight instead of letting Axel hog all the screentime. The best part of this Lazarus episode was undoubtedly Granny Belinda and her Baklava, but not even this can change the fact that the story is moving slowly.
