Yesterday, a full trailer was released for Sinners, a genre picture and a period piece from frequent collaborators Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan – who have worked on Fruitvale Station, Creed, Black Panther, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever together as director and cast member, and have other collaborations that Coogler didn’t direct. Once the trailer had been unveiled, Entertainment Weekly released a video in which Coogler and Jordan break it down, and now you can watch that video in the embed above. Coogler and Jordan try to avoid spoilers in this video, but they do talk about the film’s setting (it takes place over one day in 1932) and the characters, particularly the twin brothers played Jordan.

Sinners is set up at Warner Bros., has a budget of around $90 million, and is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 18, 2025 (having moved back from a previously announced March release date...
