It’s a Small World is an incredibly popular attraction at Disney Parks. Based on the original ride for he 1964 World’s Fair, all but the California Disneyland versions are copies. However, both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World rides have some creepy things in common. One of the creepiest fact to many is that the dolls need haircuts because their hair “grows.”

Yes, the doll animatronics on the “It’s a Small World” ride have to have yearly haircuts because their yarn hair “grows.”

The yarn stretches out over time due to humidity from the water in the attraction, making it “grow.” Because of this issue, the animatronics do receive haircuts at least once a year to combat an unkept look.
