There's one persistent rumor about beloved family film The Goonies, but Sean Astin doesn't want to hear it. In fact, he's mildly insulted that the rumor ever became a thing.

The rumor is that the child actors in The Goonies deliberately weren't shown One-Eyed Willy's pirate ship beforehand, so their looks of awe when they encountered it on camera would be real. But, as was revealed at the “Hey You Guys! The Goonies Reunion” panel at Awesome Con over the weekend (via People), some of them very much had seen the ship beforehand.
