With all the Survivor 50 fan voting, is the split tribal at 12 going to be put up for a vote? It’s a terrible game mechanic. Do it in the pre-merge if you have to. There are three tribes already, it would be so easy to do. Or at least don’t do it every season. But to have something set in stone, happening at the same point in every season? That’s boring! Big Brother host Julie Chen loves to say how that show’s motto is “Expect the unexpected.” Survivor used to be like that! Sure, maybe not to the extent of Big Brother, but it used to throw in a good share of surprises. Let’s get back to that!
