In Philip Kenndy Johnson and Nic Klein's current run on The Incredible Hulk, now hitting the two-year mark, the Hulk has been hunted by the primordial being known as the Eldest, who has been sending all manners of monsters after the Jade Giant. However, the Hulk's traveling companion during the last two years, Charlie Tidwell, has recently acquired the Godskin, a pelt made from the skin of a monster known as Lycana. The pelt gives Charlie super strength, but it also gives her a taste for blood. Bruce Banner, during a period he had control of his body again, told Charlie she should get the Hulk to bring her to Doctor Strange to see if he can help with her new bloodlust.
