Screen Rant asked the show’s EP, “We find out that someone is following Alec (Jesse L. Martin) at the end of the episode. Could it be someone that he or Rose (Karen David) knows?”
Executive producer Arika Lisanne Mittman said in response, “You have to tell NBC to give us a season 3. If we have a season 3, we can answer that question. I have some ideas, but I want to get all the writers back in the room to find the best version of that story.”
This indicates that they don’t yet know if the show is renewed or canceled yet.
