Gerard Butler knows what he is doing when it comes to delivering solid action movies, and anyone in doubt about this just needs to look at his Den of Thieves franchise. While the original Den of Thieves is still topping the Freevee chart, Den of Thieves 2: Pantera has debuted at the top of the Netflix chart after its successful box office run at the beginning of the year.

Den of Thieves: Pantera arrived seven years after the first movie, but the absence did make the heart grow fonder for Butler’s Big Nick. As well as impressing at the box office, the film managed to improve its critical review score to 63% (up from 41% given to its predecessor), and continued to please audiences who were waiting patiently for the franchise to return.
