David Tennant and Michael Sheen finish filming shortened final "season" of Good Omens
The second season of Good Omens ended with the angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) returning to heaven as the new supreme archangel charged with laying the way for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Meanwhile, the demon Crowley (David Tennant) remained on Earth, and just after the two of them had expressed their feelings for each. The breakup was hard for fans to watch.
Also hard to watch: Neil Gaiman, who co-wrote the original Good Omens book with Terry Pratchett, going down in flames as he was accused of sexual assault. Originally, Prime Video was going to make a third and final season of Good Omens to wrap up the story. But after the Gaiman scandal broke, production on season 3 was paused, and eventually it was reworked so that we're getting one final 90-minute episode, rather than a whole season of TV.
It's anybody's guess how this final super-episode will go over,...
