If there’s one series that really doesn’t need to have gone on as long as it has, it’s Dexter. The original eight season show had kind of written itself into a corner over the years, ending in what we can all objectively say was a lousy finale. Then came the unnecessary – but fairly well-received – follow-up, New Blood. And then a prequel series for some reason. And now – despite the insistence and apparent evidence that Dexter Morgan actually died at the end of New Blood – he’s coming back for Resurrection.
