Joseph Petito, the dad of the late Gabby Petito just warned his followers on social media about a scam account. Netflix made a documentary about her death that dominated the headlines in August of 2021, and Gabby’s dad does his best to make the world a safer place for young women.

The Scam Account

The news about the scam account arrived via Jospeh’s account on Instagram on Wednesday. Ironically, the unofficial account claims to be looking for information on the case of Brian Laundrie and Gabby and invites folks to send in any information.

As you can imagine, Joseph Petito is spitting mad about it. So, in his post, he wrote “Scam” across the screenshot. Plus, he wrote a scathing caption. He said:
