Takako Shimura’s Even Though We're Adults Manga Gets Live-Action Drama in April 2025

Hulu announced today it will stream a live-action drama adaptation of Takako Shimura's yuri manga series Even Though We're Adults (known as Otona ni Nattemo in Japan) beginning on April 26, 2025. Mizuki Yamamto and Chiaki Kuryama play the main characters in the story, Ayano Okubo and Akari Hirayama, respectively. Hulu's official page for the drama also released a teaser trailer introducing the main chararcter's first encounter. The manga author Shimura also released the following comments on the drama version: How did you feel when you received the offer to make a live-action drama? Shimura: "I had heard about live-action projects in the past, but this is the first time it has come true, so it was hard for me to realize it. To be honest, I still have a feeling of 'Really? It seems like a dream.'" What kind of existence does the work “Even Though We're Adults” have for you?...
