The first great horror movie of 2025,Companion, is surprisingly releasing soon on digital. The Warner Bros. AI horror movie will premiere tomorrow, Feb. 18, on digital platforms. It will also be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on Apr.11, 2025.

Written and directed by Drew Hancock, Companion follows a young couple who have planned a weekend getaway with friends. Iris feels a bit awkward around Josh's old friends, but she tries her best to have fun in the idyllic mansion owned by Sergey, Kat's millionaire boyfriend. What seems like an ideal escape from the city turns into a nightmare for Iris. Sergey assaults her, and in self-defense, she kills him. Everyone's reaction is odd, especially Josh's, who eventually tells Iris to "go to sleep" when she begins asking questions. Iris eventually wakes up and finds out the truth about herself: she's a companion android, designed to do what her owner says.
