Sturgill Simpson has announced the “Who the F**k is Johnny Blue Skies? 2025 Tour,” a lengthy US run taking place from April to late May.

Billed after Simpson’s new stage name, Johnny Blue Skies — which he employed for the release of his excellent 2024 return album, Passage Du Desir — his spring 2025 tour will make its way through a handful of US cities that Simpson missed on his fall 2024 run.

The trek also includes appearances at Texas’ Two Step Inn and California’s Stagecoach Festival, as well as a pair of shows in Asheville, North Carolina — which were re-scheduled from his 2024 tour after Hurricane Helene hit. For this tour, Simpson has promised that there will be “No openers. If you’re on time, you’re late.”
