That Lilo & Stitch commercial that aired during the 2025 Super Bowl was adorable!
Instead of airing an actual teaser for the upcoming live-action adaptation of the classic Disney movie, the company aired a spot featuring Stitch causing mayhem on a football field.
“Wow! That thing is indestructible!” an announcer says at the end of the clip after Stitch can’t be caught by security.
The live-action adaptation of Lilo & Stitch will be released in theaters on May 23. The first teaser trailer was released back in 2024.
According to an official film synopsis, Lilo & Stitch “tells a story of the bond formed between a lonely human girl named Lilo and a dog-like alien named Stitch, who was genetically engineered to be a force of destruction. With nosy social workers and pursuing aliens banging on the door, the two bond over a shared sense of family and win the day.”
