Colby Trickle, Kristen’s husband, called 911 that night, claiming he woke up to his ears ringing and found Kristen bleeding next to him. Despite the desperate call for help, Kristen would not survive. Authorities initially ruled her death a suicide, but prosecutor Aaron Cunningham wasn’t convinced.
