No Anime Films Have Been Nominated For Oscars 2025
The official website of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed a list of nominees for the 97th Oscars on Jan 23, 2025.
While a total of five anime movies, including Look Back, The Colors Within and Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim were eligible for the Best Animated Feature Film category, none of them made the final cut.
