Fans of soap operas love it when the show pulls back the curtain to reveal how things are done. Often, these peeks are just brief glimpses, and much of the knowledge we have about how soaps are made are from people involved talking about it, rather than it being shown. But that’s about to change with a new documentary that will give folks a look behind the curtain of The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as its creators, William Bell and Lee Phillip Bell.

It’s Never Been Done on This Scale Before

Award-winning Amplify Pictures is financing a new documentary that’s currently in production called Soaps. It focuses specifically on B&b and will take a look behind-the-scenes that’s never been done before in such a large capacity. It will also shed light on the Bell family, who also created The Young and the Restless.
