A24’s latest high concept horror film has the grandiose title of Opus, and the trailer has landed. Take a look here.
Film studio A24 has proved itself to be a frontrunner in bold, original, risk taking storytelling, usually with small budgets and tidy profits. From distributing daring titles like Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers, Alex Garland’s directorial debut Ex Machina and Robert Eggers’ The Witch, it soon moved into producing. Examples? The Safdie Brothers’ anxiety inducing Uncut Gems, Ari Aster’s Hereditary and Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert’s Oscar winning Everything Everywhere All At Once. A24 has become quite the stamp.
