Disney+ has cancelled two of its original series, Extraordinary and Shardlake, it’s now been revealed. More here.
Just after Paramount+ decided to pull the plug on the revived series of Frasier, according to Variety Disney+ have announced the cancellation of two of its original British dramas – Extraordinary and Shardlake.
Extraordinary, created and written by Emma Moran, is set in a world where teenagers develop super powers at the age of 18. The show follows Jen, the one girl who did not gain powers. The cancellation is especially upsetting for fans, as the second series ended on a cliffhanger that will now not be resolved. It feels like the 1990s and 2000s all over again.
