While already having worked on some of the biggest productions of the past few decades, the budget for Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey has been revealed, and it's massive. Development on Nolan's adaptation of Homer's Greek epic was first announced in October 2024, when Matt Damon and Tom Holland were cast in the film, though plot details were initially kept under wraps. As the cast continued to grow with Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson and Charlize Theron, it was announced by Universal that it would by The Odyssey and was set for a July 2026 release date.
