While Emily O’Brien has been incredible as the Theresa Donovan recast, there’s nothing like the original. Actress Jen Lilley stepped down from the Theresa role in the fall of 2023, and while fans do love O’Brien, many would love to see Lilley come back to Salem. The actress recently talked to Soap Opera Digest (Sod) about a possible return to the character and the soap.

Days spoilers reveal that Emily O’Brien is about to reprise another Dool character she’s famous for in March of this year: Gwen Rizczech. This prompted Sod to ask Lilley if she would consider returning to the Days canvas to play Theresa since Emily will have her hands full!

Lilley responded with, “I’d definitely be open to returning to the role, even for a longer arc.”
