By getting the lead role in Uwe Boll’s upcoming vigilante thriller The Dark Knight, Armie Hammer is making a big comeback to Hollywood. The movie will start being made in Croatia on January 27.

Hammer portrays Sanders, a vigilante who becomes famous on social media for his fight against crime in the film. The story is about how Sanders’s support from the people and the police chief’s efforts to stop him from doing illegal things are at odds with each other.

This choice is a big step in Hammer’s return to the screen after a break that began in 2021 because of sexual misconduct claims. Following a thorough probe, prosecutors in Los Angeles chose not to bring charges against him in 2023. Hammer just finished shooting the western Frontier Crucible, which Travis Mills directed. He starred with experienced actors Thomas Jane and William H. Macy.
