Joey King, Cooper Koch Set to Announce This Year’s SAG Awards Nominations
Joey King and Cooper Koch have been tapped to announce the nominees for the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards this Wednesday, Jan. 8. Netflix’s YouTube channel will carry the announcement beginning at 10:30 a.m. Et / 7:30 a.m. Pt.
SAG Awards committee members Jason George and Elizabeth McLaughlin will kick things off with nominations for outstanding action performances in a stunt ensemble. SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher will then give a speech and introduce King and Koch.
King received a 2020 SAG Award nomination for her role in Hulu’s true-crime series “The Act,” in the best female actor in a TV movie or miniseries category for playing Gypsy Rose Blanchard. She was also named an ambassador for that year’s 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
