There is no doubt that Minecraft is arguably the most iconic gaming franchise of all time. The journey started in 2009 when its creator Markus “Notch” Persson grew the game, but later on, it went on to become a gaming giant when the original studio of the game Mojang was sold to Microsoft for a freaking $2.5 billion in 2014.
