‘Wicked: For Good’ Is Going to Be Darker, Mind-Blowing, and Heartbreaking, Director Reveals

Wicked has become a massive hit since it hit theaters in late November. The movie, directed by Jon M. Chu, has already made a huge splash at the box office, racking up over $580 million worldwide. It’s still climbing, showing no signs of slowing down. Critics are loving it, too, with an 88% score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 95% approval rating from audiences.

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, who play Glinda and Elphaba, are also getting attention, with Golden Globe nominations for their performances. The movie has Oscar buzz already, and we’re only just getting started.
