Burt, Animal Actor and Star of ‘Crocodile Dundee,’ Dies at Over 90
The wild world of animal actors has lost an icon as Burt, the technically titular star of “Crocodile Dundee,” has died at an estimated age of over 90.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Burt, the iconic Saltwater crocodile and star of the Australian classic ‘Crocodile Dundee,'” his home of Crocosaurus Cove shared on Instagram on Sunday. “Burt passed away peacefully over the weekend, estimated to be over 90 years old, marking the end of an incredible era.”
