Arrowhead Game Studios has done a great job reviving Helldivers 2‘s popularity, but the studio can’t seem to do anything about its player base. Over the past few months, the game’s subreddit has been filled with posts bashing toxic players. Since friendly fire is on throughout missions, some players intentionally like to kill their squadmates, ultimately ruining the gaming experience for everyone.

A video showcasing this growing problem recently went viral on social media, putting a spotlight on this one stupid habit. It seems like some players can’t keep it together during extraction, as many like to call in Stratagems at the Pelican’s landing spot before entering it. Getting inside the Pelican would prevent players from getting damaged. However, any teammate outside the Pelican would instantly get obliterated.
