Portraits: ‘Somebody Somewhere’ at 2024 Chicago Humanities Fest
Chicago – The final episode of HBO’s “Somebody Somewhere” will be dropping on December 8th, 2024, concluding a three-season run of the popular series. Executive Producer and portraying the main character Sam is Bridget Everett, and she appeared with co-star Jeff Hiller (Joel) at the 2024 Chicago Humanities Festival.

The semi-autobiographical series features Bridget Everett as Sam, who returns to her hometown of Manhattan, Kansas (Everett’s actual hometown) after her sister has passed away, and is a low-key and hilarious examination of Sam’s navigation of life from there. The series premiered in 2022.
