It Truly Deserves a Sequel: After Wonder Woman 1984 Disaster, Chris Pine Starred in a Beautiful $208M Film That Bombed Due to Poor Marketing

Chris Pine might have been the only Hollywood Chris to have entered the Dceu instead of the MCU, but it seems that there could have been a different film of his that should have received a sequel, as opposed to Wonder Woman.

While Patty Jenkins managed to give Wonder Woman the film she deserved with the first film, Wonder Woman 1984 managed to go down the same road that the rest of the Dceu did, throwing away everything that worked for its character, while also managing to make some of the most spectacular set pieces feel hollow. Instead, a lot of fans hope that it was Pines’ Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves that should have received a sequel instead.
