Disney World Flipping Aerosmith Roller Coaster to Muppets Theme
Twenty-five years after opening, Disney World’s Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is being overtaken by the Muppets. The Hollywood Studios attraction in Orlando, Florida, will soon be reimagined as a Muppets-themed coaster.
The upcoming change is the result of a domino effect taking place thanks to the new Monsters Inc. Land being built in Hollywood Studios. The longtime attraction Muppet*Vision 3D will be shutting down to make room for the new section of the park. In order to maintain the Muppets’ presence in Hollywood Studios, Kermit the Frog and company will take over the Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster.
An exact timeline has been not been announced, with the theme park letting visitors know they can still enjoy Muppet*Vision 3D and Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith for the time being.
