The film, of course, was a big hit, spawning both a sequel and a TV series. Now, rumors are once again picking up that there could be a third National Treasure movie made, though we’re not about to count any proverbial chickens before they’ve hatched. In the meantime, the anniversary marks an ideal opportunity to revisit the original films. At the time of its release, Cage told us it was important to make National Treasure a movie that kids could enjoy.
